• Service better service to the community. Information can be provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without waiting for the opening of the office. Information can be sought from the office, home, without having to physically come to the office of government.
• Improved relationships between governments, businesses, and the general public. Openness (transparency), it is expected that the relationship between the various parties to be better. This openness eliminate mutual suspicions and resentment of all these parties.
• Empowering communities through information easily obtained. Given sufficient information, the public will learn to be able to determine his choice. For example, data about the school (number of classes to accommodate students, the passing grade, and so forth) can be displayed online and used by parents to choose the right school for their children.
• Implementation of a more efficient government. For example, the coordination of government can be done via email or even video conferencing. For Indonesia, the area is very large, this is very helpful. Frequently asked questions, coordination, discussions among regional leaders can be done without all of them should be on the same physical location.
